A question about writing

I have all these weird scenarios and characters in my head and I want to write them into novels and short stories, but I am not sure where to start. Do you guys have any advice?

  1. I've always been fond of just brainstorming and daydreaming during the day and figuring scenarios for whatever's around me. Say you're at the doctor's office, what are all the strange or abstract scenarios that could occur there. Incorporate your characters and whatever direction you want to take it from there. Good luck and most of all enjoy what you're writing. :)

  2. write a one page story from start to finsih, write one page on each charchter, write one page about the confict in the book.... then reference those pages as you write the book.... profit

  3. Write whatever you can, whatever is in your head at the moment and eventually it'll all come together.

  11. Write everything you think of down, draw from your own experience to fill in the blanks and then cut the fat. Do this and you shall have in your hands the greatest story outline of all time. Perhaps the next Twilight?!
